Diverse language practices, languages, and Englishes in my daily life With languages, I practice Spanish in my head and narrate my activities when I'm alone in Spanish. This is so I can better the language. When it comes to Englishes, I usually use very informal writing when it comes to texting my friends, but I speak pretty formally towards strangers I don't know even if they are my age, or even mimicking British words towards a friend of mine who is British. Multimodality is in many places, when it comes to literate practices modes such as oral can help with the language. Like me trying to get my parents to speak more Spanish around me so I can better practice it. Visuals also help immensely because they can connect the word or what you're looking for specifically to an image. Translingualism is how a word is taken up across languages. Sometimes I still get confused with this term, but I understand how it depends on where you're from and the region you're in....
